Care Notes: Leather, Wool, Denim

Blog post featured image

Good clothes ask for a little attention, and give a lot back. Three materials sit at the heart of the Volume wardrobe, and each has its own rhythm.

Leather wants a dry cloth after wear and a dedicated balm every few months. Keep it away from direct heat and standing water, and store it on a padded hanger with room to breathe. Scuffs and softening are part of the material's memory, not a flaw.

Wool prefers brushing over washing. Dry-clean sparingly, rest a piece a day between wears, and store it on a wide hanger away from sun. A steam rather than an iron will lift most creases.

Denim holds its shape with fewer washes, not more. Wash cold and inside out only when it needs it, then hang to dry. The fades you earn are better than the ones you buy. For everything else, our full guide lives on the Care Instructions page.
