Size Guide

Velum pieces are cut to fit the body with ease — neither oversized nor restrictive. If you fall between sizes, we recommend sizing up for coats and structured outerwear; for draped pieces, your usual size works well.

How to measure

Use a soft tape measure. Take measurements over light clothing or underwear, keeping the tape level and snug but not tight.

  • Bust — around the fullest part of the chest, tape level across the back.
  • Waist — around the natural waist, the narrowest point above the hips.
  • Hips — around the fullest part of the hips and seat, approximately 20 cm (8 inches) below the natural waist.

Fit notes

Garments are sized to the body measurements above. Most pieces carry 2–5 cm of ease to allow natural movement.

Coats and outerwear are cut with additional ease to layer over knitwear. Structured tailored pieces — blazers, pants, fitted skirts — follow body measurements closely; if you are between sizes, size up.

Knitwear and sweatshirts are proportioned for a relaxed fit. Choose your usual size for a clean silhouette, or size up for a more generous drape.
